Backgrounder C. Richard Jamieson 

     With over thirty years experience in the data processing industry, Mr. Jamieson can be considered one of the pioneers in the development of business software for personal computers. He became involved in this industry when it was necessary to actually physically construct the personal computer before software development could begin.

     From this point on he has been directly involved with the management and development of custom business solutions as well as the management and development of mass marketed software solutions. Several of the software products he has developed are currently being mass marketed. Some of the concepts he has envisioned and implemented have become widely used models in the software industry and foundations in today’s sophisticated business software.

     During his career he has been involved in every phase of business software research, design and development. His experience has included development on the entire range of computing hardware (main frames, mini computers, networks, and personal computers) and with a significant number of the current software platforms.

     Throughout his career, continually driven by the improvements in computer hardware and development software, he has designed prototypes and directed development of more and more sophisticated software solutions. These include complete, fully integrated, multi user, enterprise business solutions for G/L, A/R, A/P, Inventory, and Payroll.

     Currently Mr. Jamieson is the owner and president of WIM Consulting. This company provides a wide variety of consulting services to large and small businesses that require a custom integration or a complete custom software solution.
